Our incredible Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon has a sriracha kick that is balanced with soy sauce, lime juice, and honey, then layered in a thick glaze over succulent baked salmon. This unbelievable dish is destined to be your new go-to healthy dinner option!
Can I tell you a secret? I used to hate salmon. It always seemed just a bit too fishy for my tastes. I would eat it for its many health benefits, but I never really enjoyed it. This recipe has single-handedly converted me into someone who craves salmon on a regular basis!
Why Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon Will Win You Over
The Flavor is Incredible
The star of the sauce is the sriracha, which brings its smoky heat to complement the natural flavor of the salmon in a way that truly highlights this healthy fish. That heat is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of maple syrup, the saltiness of the soy sauce, and the tangy hit of the lime juice and zest. Garlic and ginger round it out and complete the flavor profile.

It’s So Simple
The glaze is mixed, then thickened by heating it with a little cornstarch. This takes only minutes to reduce and thicken. Then all you have to do is brush it onto the salmon, sear, then bake to finish.
You Can Have It on the Table Quickly
From start to finish, this dish takes less than 30 minutes to make. You can serve it even on the busiest of weeknights for a healthy dinner that will make you feel good about what you are feeding your family.
We all want to make the most of our time, so quick and easy meals are always great to have in the regular rotation. When you can serve a truly healthy dish that is also quick and easy? That’s when it will feel like you are really winning at dinner!

Serving Your Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon
We love this dish with a side of roasted broccoli. Simply cut your broccoli into florets, toss with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, then roast on a foil-lined sheet pan. You can roast this right alongside your salmon; just get it into the oven first, as your broccoli will take about 20 minutes to roast. The smaller the pieces, the faster it will roast! Be sure to stir it up halfway through so the smaller pieces don’t burn.
You can also serve this amazing salmon with a nice summer salad. Here are three great options!

Don’t Forget Dessert!
Of course, dessert is always a great way to finish any meal. It’s all about balance! Having some cookies on hand is a great way to serve a small dessert when you are short on time. Try keeping some in the freezer – they thaw quickly and taste like they were just baked!
