Sriracha Roasted Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 2 cups raw unsalted almonds
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Prepare a sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Mix: Whisk together the sriracha, olive oil, brown sugar, cumin, salt, and cayenne in a large bowl. Add the almonds and toss to combine.
- Roast: Place in your prepared pan and roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, or until the nuts are fragrant, golden brown, and appear dry. Allow to cool completely in the pan set on a wire cooling rack before serving.
Notes
- Make this more or less spicy by adjusting the amount of cayenne. We found these to have just a hint of spice that is noticeable but doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors.
- This recipe is easily doubled or tripled, so make a big batch!
- Store your completely cooled almonds in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a month.
